Many new vehicles in the leading car markets are now equipped with the latest driver assistance systems. And the next generation of assisted driving (Level 3) is already waiting in the wings. By 2030, at least one in ten new vehicles will have autonomous driving functions.

The Mobility Technology Center’s experts create transparency for you as regards the safety and performance of driver assistance systems and automated vehicles. With this transparency, we contribute to increasing safety and acceptance among the general public and help you to benefit when using driver assistance systems.

3 reasons why you should talk to us about assisted and autonomous driving

    Improved safety
Through improved road safety, we help to realize “Vision Zero” for traffic fatalities and severe injuries.
    Greater acceptance
With our products and services, we specifically increase the acceptance of assisted and autonomous driving.
    Higher performance
We can help you to increase the performance of driver assistance systems and autonomous vehicles.

The dynamic safety score uses driving and vehicle data to assess the operation and performance of driver assistance systems and their behavior in real traffic. The score not only provides transparency but also gives the person behind the wheel feedback on the degree of safety of their driving style in combination with driver assistance systems. The results of the safety score and our comprehensive repair costs database create the basis for innovative insurance solutions.

We advise you on the development of all kinds of autonomous vehicles, from people movers to cars, to light and heavy commercial vehicles. We support you with the technical realization and operationalization of your autonomous project. We pay particular attention to the safety of all road users.

    From our toolbox

We have used our years of experience to link test scenarios with a set of criteria. These test scenarios and the set of criteria form the basis of our real-world test (RWT). The RWT allows us to carry out a standardized comparison of the usability, response times and control quality of driver assistance systems in just a few steps.
